How I Find God in the Chaos of Motherhood

Some days, motherhood feels like a whirlwind. With four amazing kids ranging from 7 to 21, I've experienced every kind of mess—baby blowouts, teenage eye-rolls, and everything in between.

I didn't always walk this journey with God. When my older ones were little, I wasn't connected to Him. I was just trying to survive—coffee in one hand, baby on the hip, and no idea how to spiritually thrive. I thought I had to be still, quiet, and perfectly put together to spend time with God.

Ha! As if.

Finding God Amidst the Noise

Now that I've grown in faith and mom wisdom, I've learned something powerful: God doesn't need silence to speak. He just needs your heart—even the messy, tired, slightly overwhelmed one.

Finding time with Him is still a challenge some days. But even in the chaos, I've found that God is my safe place. He's the steady in the swirl. The peace in the pile of laundry. The calm in the carpool line.

Simple Ways I Invite God Into the Chaos

You don't need a Pinterest-perfect morning routine to connect with Jesus. Trust me, I've tried. I've spilled coffee on devotionals, lost Bibles under the couch, and had "quiet time" that ended with me asleep on the floor.
